UH Student-Produced Telenovelas Premiere, Inform Hispanics on Alzheimer’s Risk
Hispanics are 50% more likely to develop Alzheimer’s compared to non-Hispanic whites, yet only represent 1% of clinical trials. Telenovelas, or Spanish language soap operas, identified as effective medium to educate community.
